What is Ron basing his prediction on... I am not sure the trend says so... Can anyone please share his logic?
2 months before, IV has learned from CA/VO at the State Dept that 80-85% of all the visa numbers have been allocated for the fiscal year. I am sure that the actual usage by now is probably more than the 85%. If I am not mistaken, DOS considered 95% utilization as best in the past. It seems to me that they want to get close to the 100%. If you look at the last few bulletins, the cut off dates moved by one month and not by leaps and bounds. Clearly there was demand. I can see EB-2 I & C with PD's of 2002 getting approvals. The demand for EB-2 I & C still exists. DOS just gave USCIS an opportunity to USCIS to utilize the visa numbers. We all know that there is no such thing called FIFO with CIS. I have said this before and will say again one more time.
In the last 2 months, Some one with a PD of Jan 06 might get approved and some one with Jun 02 will be sulking. Just because EB-2 I & C dates have moved to 06 for a brief time does not mean that EB-3 I & C are the only ones that will be left sulking for ever. EB-2 I & C will join the lines in no time. The comparative pain & wait time for EB-3 I & C is more, but what difference does it make if it takes 6 years vs 10 years. Any solutions or thoughts to our issues that are designed entirely on a EB category basis, IMO are not good.

Guys pls stop taking useless info pass appointments. People like me who have not received EAD and may loose the job are not able to get infopass appointments because of all the people taking appt to know the 485 status. Pls understand......

i think paypal charges when the source funds are from credit card. ask his customers to pay thru their bank accounts to avoid that fee.

We received all four I-485 Transfer Notices today which says they transferred our cases to LIN. My I-140 was approved from LIN, so this is ok.
But the strange thing is both the Receipt Date and the Notice Date is September 26, 2007. Should I be worried?:confused:
I also applied EAD and AP. Would that means CSC is sill holding back my EAD and AP applications for adjudication?

Lots of people are in this situation. Without a GC your professional life is screwed and with a GC your family life. Good Luck.
I totlaly agree with this. I am single too with PD DEC 2006. I have been in present job for almost 4 years. I ended up working for a non-profit oragnization on a non-cap H1b, which prevents me from transfering to private companies which need caped h1b( i din't knew about this when I took up the non-profit organization job). The only way for me to get into private company is to get a new H1b under cap which starts from Oct 2008. This time I planned properly and got an H1b approved. But to my shock and surprise EB2 dates moved to June 2006. I am now carefully watching the September EB2 dates. If it gets closer to Dec..I need to pull back the 485 as I don't think I can get marreid within 6 months due to family responsibality back home. If I withdraw my 485 application, I will lose the queue, money and since I plan to change job, the only benift I will be taking with me , is the PD date which I can later transfer if my next empyer does my GC. With a 2.5 year h1b left, I am hoping under worst situation, my next emplyer will sponcer my GC. This whole GC process is a pain in ***...!!!!

Are the sample affadavits floating around the ones to be used (that my parents can fill in and sign) and would that be sufficient. Does it have to be notariazed or parents filling/signing it is sufficient.
Also do consulates of India etc provide such affadavits/birth certificates?

I really need to thank you from the bottom of my heart, bcuz this was just the right moment for me to get this piece of information (I was under the impression that although you can keep your PD, you have to do labor, I-140 again.) For some reason, I had kept hearing a lot of mixed messages about AC21.
I just confirmed all this with my lawyer as well.

I e-filed on 04/14 at NSC and still no updates. TSC as can be seen from the post above is approving EAD cards in 2-3 weeks.

My priority date is EB3 (August 2005). Last week her status changed to following. The thing is I checked with my lawyer & my employer and both said that they never received any RFE or never responded anything for my wife to USCIS.
