Thanks for explaining this clearly. 2 Questions:
1. If you use EAD and don't file AC21 and assume your I140 is revoked and USCIS wrongly denies I485 based on the I140 revocation, will you be on legal status while you fight the USCIS ?
filing of MTR does not give you status, once they accept it, yes you are in status again.
2. If you do file for AC21 and switch jobs, if you happen to change jobs again, do you have to file for AC21 again? Does this need to happen everytime one switches jobs?
yes. You are basically keeping USCIS updated with the information of an emplpoyer who is willing to hire you once you get your GC.

I do not know in which city of India you took out your PPF.,
But I heard you have to pay atleast 5% to get PPF back in Hyd.,
Hope corruption will not be that high by next 20 years in India!!
I can attest to that. It's not unusual to have to pay bribe from 10-25% to get the PPF money. And even that takes weeks/months to complete. I've personally known relatives in India who had to do that. It's not even considered anything out of ordinary there. Good Luck R2I's.

the best to do is ignore him. Why do you guys even see his show (I never do and and so am blissfuly unaware of this). My lawyer files I- 485 for me and my family, I want to file EAD and AP for me and my family by myself still do I need to file one more G- 28 .

Hey Bozo - I've been following IV for about 2 years now using my spouse's ID - I just created one for myself today - My wife and I have contributed to IV also. Know the facts before shooting your mouth off - NUT JOB!!!
Why not to use that very same ID you have been using for 2 years to post this one also? That way others will know you have been a member and also contributed in the past. No confusion and peace.

My EAD is pending in NSC for almost 2 months, Filed on June 9th (Efile), got fingerprint notice in June 3d week, done on Jul 8th. Nothing happened after that.
Since my dates are current (EB2 I, June 2005), I am just thinking they MAY aprove my 485 instead of EAD. Just a thought. What do you guys say?

This is by far THE MOST RIDICULOUS suggestion on this forum I have come across.
Sorry man, this wont work for ANYONE out here. We have been waiting since TWO AND A HALF Years to file and now you want us to wait for 15 more days only to realize that USCIS may actually yank the rug out under us. I mean think about it, we will all feel like MONUMENTAL FOOLS if that happens. Try explaining THAT to your spouse who has been waiting for 2 years or more to apply and get an EAD. I know mine would KILL me if i even suggested that to her ;)

There is no such law that specifies any duration one has to be employed by GC (or AC-21) employer. Period.

Changing to vertical spillover will NOT help EB3 India or China. EB3 ROW is not current and it will suck up all overflow leaving EB2I, EB2C, EB3I and EB3C to their annual quota only. USCIS changing the process to horizontal spillover is the best thing that has happened to I and C community in the absence of immigration reform. Now there is at least some hope for EB3 folks to get a new job and apply in EB2, as at least that queue is faster. If we fight among ourselves and stop vertical spillover, it will only benefit EB3ROW as they will get all overflow from EB1 and EB2ROW. Please guys, let's not fight.
you are from eb2 - I wonder what your opinion would have been if you were from eb3 - India ??? my feeling and hope is that they will start giving more spillover visas to eb3 categories - the reason being that they don't want too much gap between employment categories
