I ordered my IV T-shirt, it looks cool, with California printed on the back. It takes a couple of days in the mail so order now. I am excited about the event, it would be fun.

Are you planning to take action against attorney as well?
Even though it may not be illegal for him to not to respond to you, but it clearly proves that attorney is aware, that your life is being screwed by not filing 485.
I am sure there exists some ethical responsbilities for them too, Did you check with the Bar association helpdesk (or anyone there) where your attorney is registered?
Also, please post attorney's details also whenever you think its time to disclose

FBI background check delay is the only reason why visa numbers are wasted every year.
I am not sure either way, however I have heard the FBI comment that they only flag a small fraction of cases. IF that is true, then the USCIS may just be using the FBI as an excuse.

Brush up your General Knowledge, look around you. If you see, there is a priority date on my post - Infy does not sponspor GC's, atleast not with those priority dates in EB2 category. Can you deduce what that implies?
You are thinking only about the small percentage of "lost Indians" (including me) who are in this mess - if you really think about your motherland (and mine), help guys like NRN get a good infrastructure in place. By ridiculing him, what are you trying to say? had you been in his place, what would you have done? Settle here immediately, and launch a daily "freighter" to bring all Indians to US? What desh bhakti!

Fraud is usually about lie. If you hide a material fact from USCIS, that is a lie by ommision; and becomes a fraud if it was done intentionally. Changing employment while on EB GC application is a material fact and would matter much when USCIS decides on your case.
Usually, this kind of ommision is found out when the individual applies for another immigration benefit or for Naturalization.

This discussion should scare many many people. I can count so many people just over the top of my head who would have a similar problem.
This discussion scared me now.
I came in US on 06/03/2001. When I came I was told, no project for me right now and I have to wait. I waited till 09/11/2001 WITHOUT pay.
The first time I was on my company payroll was in 09/11/2001. Since then as of today I am working continously.
AM I IN PROBLEM?
Please comment and give me hope.

Things like legislative changes take time. We may think that the debate on illegal immigration has nothing to do with our issues but the corrupt Senators will always try to sneak in some reform related to illegal immigrants into our bills in exchange for their votes, ultimately derailing the entire bill.
We sincerely need to work with the law makers--the guys in the immigation committees, in particular. Please, desist using 'corrupt' senators. Debates in democracy are always healthy. We must emphasise our points, gather support from aila our employers and beneficiaries and respect a system.

India is India only... never compare it to US, and I do not think there is glamour attached to US green card, People who have the mind set of freedom and education and knowledge with a better quality of life still migrate to USA. There is no doubt about it India's economic grwoth comparing to US is really nothing. And never compare these two countries and never try to change the mind set of a whole generation, for business needs India have a unique culture, with lot of diversity. Still there is lot of poor familes (below the poverty line) in India, education has not reached the rural areas of India yet.
US economy is down and receission is meant to happen every 5 years in US some times to recover and job creation it takes longer if you read the US history and economics you will understand better. This time the open global media made it a big issue, that is about it. When the economy improves and things are better, again your so called glamour comes back. Glamour is in people's mind set, seeing movies and reading somebody else's writing. Still USA is far far better in living and social activities than in India.

Only a regular Lou Dobbs watcher will know, Lou never read a negative message posted by audiance on his show, and he will read only those messages who are racist, and literally hates immigrants.
My experience is sending messages to the person whom we are going to target won't help. We need to counter attack using a different and equally powerful channel. The negative comments we post on Lou Dobbs and CNN are never posted or maybe never read to the end.

And this willwin guy has the nerve to give me a red mark on my post saying I'm not being diplomatic... like I care about being diplomatic when they want IV to shift its primary focus in order to cater to such ridiculous asks!!
