What, are you 4 yrs. old man? If one works sincerely towards the cause, then he will realize the answer themselves, please try & think about that. Please help us work towards the goal. Nothing happens overnight, hope you are old & experienced enough to realize that or you must be an armchair quarterback. Please listen to "Time" by Pink Floyd & get your priorities straight.

Later my wife made me realize that family life is most important as long as we are together, country of residence does not matter. When our son was born last month, I truly felt 'damn GC'.. funnily got approved in the same week:

It would help if Masters is only counted from the Acredited Univs...
I am sure they will take care of that loophole... the fact is , even NJIT is an Accredited University. The Degree is not worth the paper it is printed on though.
In any case, as long as its not an Online degree..it should be permissible.

Congress never thought that I-485 processing would take more than 1 year (I-485 pending for 180 days is called "long-delayed" in 8 USC 1154(j), see also 8 USC 1571). If the USCIS was able to process all I-485 in one year time frame, there would be no retrogression!

We might be looking at it the wrong way. The question is whether outsourcing is bad. Maybe thats not what the question should be. My view is that just like competition, outsourcing and globalization are facts of life. You can fight it, but it will not get you anywhere.
If you think of globalization and realize that the whole world is a marketplace then wont the whole world be a competition for your job?
When I think of outsourcing, I think of just another competition for your job. In some cases though when the entire department is being outsourced you are part of the herd. The same can be said for entire departments laid off.

friends ..are we giving up before even trying ??? this is the least that we can do ..just write that you are a skilled legal immigrant with american kids. you have followed all the rules for 6-8 years ..waiting for a GC so that you can buy a house (or if you have a house then there is a danger that it will go in foreclosure because of GC delays) ..few minutes is all that is needed

If it is of any further consolation then here is my brief backgroud:
I am a Hindu by birth.
Did my schooling from a catholic school and know Bible's stories by heart and also had led choirs.
Did my B.S. Mechanical engineering from a prominent miniority university, Aligarh Muslim University.
So you see, I would be the last person to use this story to stereotype folks from any particular religon.
I will conclude by saying that polygamy in India is almost non existent. The story cited here is unique, irrespective of what religion the person belongs to, even though the laws may be permitting in certain cases.

If you read the law carefully, you will be put in a holding prision and given a change to prove legal status (contact family tobring your passport), etc. This is not a traffic stop - a decision will not be made on the stop. 2. By law you have to carry identification. Does this mean as a citizen or non-immigrant visa holder, you have to roam with all your docs? No! This is why we fought so hard to make sure US-states give driver's licenses?ID cards to people here legally ONLY. So, you just carry your DL.

I wonder nobody cares now that they have got capgap relief and extended OPT. But I wonder what will happen when finally a student after 29 months of OPT apply and this would keep on accumulating. It would get very dirty and ugly for students to even reach to Green Card stage. Forget about retrogression :(
