It looks like atleast 75% of EB2 I with priority dates 2004 seems to be approved, this should bring down the count of 2004 less than 1000 may be little more than 1000.

Did you do something. I am from NJ too. Did you contact any congressmen or senators from NJ?
I am currently in Michigan...I only opened a SR on 8/5, nothing else. Had a letter for my son's FP on 7/20, since he turned 14 this year; when we did in 10/2007, they only took a thumb print for my son, since he was under age.

I did not send G-28 even though I have an attorney. I think that part is only if you want them to respond to your attorney rather than yourself.
Here are the answers to line numbers 10, 11, etc...
10 - Choose (b) and (iv) within (b)
11 - Choose (b)
13 - I chose (b) and (c) since I had done both of those things. You should choose accordingly.
14 - I left this one blank because I did not want to involve the attorney
15 and 16 - Just write your name and sign. Make all family members do this to avoid separate forms for each

I have once again sent 6 letters by mail to 6 members, but I would like to send to more by email. Can somebody please direct me to how to get those or if you have, please paste it here so that we can start sending emails also.
We must bump up our efforts as much as we can before the Oct bulletin comes out, but EB3 needs to do better. There is not much difference between the two categories when it comes to skill EB2 or EB3. As all of you know, the system is broken. There are Masters degree holders in both categories and experienced categores in both. Not long back we saw Eb3 doing better. This is not right guys,. Lets work together.

I'm not sure whether USCIS ever *appologized* per say but the second paragraph from the link above supports my earlier argument that the new spill-over policy (which in my personal opinion is more rational) is not a random, ad hoc decision by USCIS but rather a careful one after consulting congress etc.

OP should try to pursue this through a lawyer if s/he can. For the rest of us, maybe time to think of what we can do together to not face this again in the future. Lot of us are going to be on EAD for a while.

Agreed on your point. But there are other discriminations at workplace such as , age, race, sex and sexual harrassment. Those who complain about it effectively terminate their careers. If you want to go , complain against this L1 misuse fine, but you are not going to get mileage, maybe some bad breath and bad publicity and eventual loss of reference & job. If your company / client has decided they do not want to persist with you, there are 101 ways they can get rid of you, legal or illegal, my suggestion is, if you were exposed,
can L1fraud hold his head high in front of his client and still ask for reference with no sense of guilt in future? If not, he has lost half the game but now wants to lose the other half in a self destructive manner.

Most of the cases, upper management decides to replace all the local contractors with these outsourcing firms and once the contract is signed these companies dump all their L1 resources to projects and middle management who deals directly with the resources has minimal say in the process.

It may be illegal to disqualify a candidate who has EAD with validity for the required amount of time. But I sure can ask about the details within legal limits, can't I?

If there is someone who can do my job cheaper or better or more efficiently - by all means it should go to him. I need to then find something where I am good at. Thats what competition is! Guys just want to appreciate the efforts by different members here. At least it gives a sense of support that you are not alone in this whole fiasco when you hear around you people getting their FP or EADs and you are left feeling frustrated and anxious.
This forum actually has become quite important and please keep on posting details and updates.
