I gets very severe migraine attack almost everyday thinking about the GC !! I took so many pain killers(acetameno) almost everyday ..now they also stopped working on me...and due to these apin killers ..I became acidic ..acidity everyday..even without eating spicy things...my wife says, probably my lever damaged ..don't like to visit doctors ...will it get worse ? I can't escape visiting IV everyday !! Any remedy for me will be highly appreciated....

And I will also prescribe you channel all the pain into some positive energy by helping IV via contributions, volunteer work...and participatingin action items...all that is very rewarding!!! and will help you from going nuts, bananas and what have you!!

See, what IV few members have written. I found them again in user control panel along with RED dots. I stopped caring about RED dots.
But, there are some comments that really hurts.

All this consultant bashing aside...and while 70% are indeed crooks....there are a lot of Fortune 100 and 500 companies where the entire IT staff is on H1B visas through these same firms.....I wonder who will handle operations if this is banned outright.....there is a reason it is still being allowed despite the abuse....

It seems as per current DOS practice, the answer is yes. They will be issuing only 2800 EB2 visas per year to India and China. They will be issuing remaining unused visas by EB2-ROW to EB3-ROW.
So that means the unused Visa number flow "downwords" within the country category NOT "accross" the EB category.

I think that the DOS (Dept of State) releases VISA Numbers on a quarterly basis. If that is the case, there should be movement in EB2 India in Jan 2007.
The other possibility always exists that the numbers were released for this quarter but the demand was SO HIGH that the net date did not move at all.

dear members,
dint had much time to go thro' your responses. but if senior ppl are targetting this fellow( mercies) for this thread, then i beg to differ. because as a member of IV, i have been answering "hadron" posts too at immigration portal.
I think all Mercies is trying to do is help IV out, by preparing answers of such questions which stupid ppl ask, so they can be put to a stop right away. Probably he's drawing your attention to some q's that all of you have answers for, just guide mercies to that post,
but i think all of your remarks have been directed towards merices only as if he's started it all.
i guess we outta stop ppl who are trying to defame this collective effort by giving them one-point answers.
have to get back to work.

Try getting info from any other consulate...you will feel the same.... I used to feel the same until I dealt with UK / French /Italian consulates for tourist visa....it was as horrible...

None so far. No updates from the Lawyer or any LUD change. My I485 RD is 08/16/07, and NSC has not reached that date as yet. My lawyer's office called and the response was "The request is attached to the file (485)". I called NSC and the IO there DO NOT know the meaning of Interfiling and the IO I got was very rude and in a hurry to finish the call. She said that these officers should not give us (AOS Adjustees) any info, please inform me if any USCIS officer has broken that rulw. I said no one has and finished the call. Now, I am waiting, as have been for last six years for various things on the GC journey, for NSC I485 Processing status to go beyond Aur/16/2007. Once it does, I will call them again.

1. marriage certificate
2. wedding photographs
3. wedding card invitation
4. property papers on joint name
5. other investments on joint name might help.
6. Indian passport has spouse's name entered
7. "Lease papers"
8. "Medical insurance papers with name of the spouse"
9. joint tax filed as additional proof.
10. Her H4 stamping etc can be a proof too
I am now trying to come up with a affidavit format that I need to send to some folks in India who attended our wedding and get those too... I will keep you all posted..

Go get a good lawyer .File a lawsuit against attorney for breach of contract and ask for minimum 5 to 6 million dollars in damages. see if you can involve the company too. screw their happiness to the largest extent . Expose your employer and file a complaint that he forced you to pay for your labour cert and 140 expenses. DOL will shut him down as they are already investigating these fraud shops.

Ya...Atleast, they should allow us to file EAD. In that case my spouse can work. She did not get H1b this year(because of lottery system). She has PHD in CSE and sitting at home.
If she has a PHD in CSE she should look for a job get H1 and file Green Card in EB1 all off this can be done in 6 months! What's holding you back???? :)

I think its pretty immature for members to draw moral judgments and post those remarks here, all thats required is to tell the OP that this forum is for redressing Legal immigrant based issue (primarily dealing with the Green-Card delays etc), to tell the OP to take her "sob story" or " not being sorry" and pulling up moral judgments is just plan immature, period.
