I would follow the advise of your immigration attorney on this one. Sometimes they ask for pay stubs, sometimes they do not. So I would follow what your attorney advises on you. Normally USCIS will not ask for W2's. However an embassy will, when you go for stamping. They will ask for W2 and your tax returns to verify if you got paid whatever is written on your application as your salary.

Based on my receipt numbers and looking up on USCIS website, it appears my AOS application that was sent to NSC has been sent to California Center. I have not seen anybody's case being sent to CSC. Dunno how good or bad it is and whether it sppeds up/delays my EAD processing. Anybody had experience with CSC and got any of EAD/AP/GC approved from CSC.

I myself is interested to get the interim benefits now and not expecting to receive the GC right away. But I can feel the frustration of those who are already in the few last steps.
After getting the EAD/AP within three months, I don't think our problem is solved already. We will be at certain point in time be in the same situation as the poster above.

i have read of instances when the PD was successful and few instances when it was not...
so i am not sure..what the criteria is..
but if you are in the same industry..PD porting should not be an issue..
....

I am exploring the possibility of making the Inter-filing. I have been speaking to some well known, street-smart attornies. One mentioned that the "Priority Date" is decided only upon approval of I-140. He also wrote that for keeping the earlier priority date, the 2nd I-140 application (new) should be filed along with copy of the approval of the first I-140.
In your case, it appears that you did not send the approval copy of the first I-140 along with 2nd I-140 application.
Probably, you can send the approval of EB-2 I-140 with earlier PD, along with I-485 receipt copy to the Service Center and ask them to allot the earlier PD. Please take the assistance of attorney for doing this.

Without immigration voice or like forums we could be a lot worse. it is good to vent, exert feelings and come out with experiences and share them P2P. This is one of our life lines. Also, many large companies, when applying for jobs on their websites, mandatorily require you to state your visa status. While self-identification (race, sex) is always optional and cannot be required (by law, there will always be a statement that says submission of this info is voluntary).
They cannot ask it if it is illegal, and clearly this information is used in the employment process.

I request everybody to add one line in the letter for Consular processing filers as they should be allowed to get AC21 and EAD facilities now. This law came earlier only for 485 filers because CP process was fast but now due to retrogession all CP filers are waiting for Years and in the worst sitauation as 485 filers are enjoying their freedom with AC21 and EAD

If you have an approved I-140 and the job description matches that of your Labor, you shouldn't have any issues. The job title shouldn't matter either, it's all in the description/role/responsibilities and the technology. If the technology/tool changes then it's an issue because the Labor you have tells that there is a shortage of people in that area.

How much does technology come into picture? I changed jobs using AC21 and am on EAD, my new job utilizes only 50% of the skills from previous job and am getting trained in new technologies in the new job. I am not sure if the new employer will list all technologies mentioned in the labor, but will definitely list all those that are being used. Any comments?

I received a soft lud on my H1B approved in Nov 2007. All other cases do not have any LUD. I guess it is just the system touching these records as routine maintainence.
but I got soft LUD's on all my cases after using AC21.
Here two things happened
1. applied for h1B transfer using approved I 140
2. sent AC21 letter
so don't know what trigerred the soft LUD's
