Are there any fees that has to be paid when the amount is declared? And is this for visitors only?
There is no fees for bringing foreign exchange into India. It is applicable to all passengers irrespective of their nationality or purpose of visit to India. However no import of Indian money is allowed by non resident Indians / foreign nationals. Indian residents can bring in up to Rs. 7.500.

I browsed the site gtrr.net you mentioned. I applied and also tried to contact the numbers few times but not getting any response.
I am currently in US on H4. I am qualified teacher and also worked in India. Regarding my qualifications I completed B.Ed and MSc from India. I am looking for applying for H1 this year. I really appreciate if you can give some details regarding any companies that can file for H1B for teachers.

No one is saying this is what is going to happen 100%. It is all educated guess with whatever data in hand as of today.
Any person who has filed labor 2+years back would be having the required data to guess the PD. Most of the people know more than immigration attorney in US about the entire labor process. USCIS is educating all of us with immigration law, senate, congress, Bills and the entire US political system.
If I get GC, I will try to become an attorney or a senator.

I just transferred to a new employer in my 7th year. All you need is a copy of the approved I-140.
DO not give a notice to your current employer until the new H1 is approved. Also, apply for premium processing.

Well there is a thread here talking about the pros and cons of multiple 485 filing so that means it can be done. As far as i have read its not illegal but it might delay the process. Different lawyers have diff opinion. Both our lawyers agreed for multiple filing and so to be on the safe side(one has an early PD and the other's job is more stable) we are filing 2 485s, but only one EAD and AP.

I do not think that you have any issues to work on W2 with an end client or with any other consulting company. Since you have completed six months period with your present employer, who supported to file GC , from the date filing I 485, there should not be any issues at all. Also filing AC21 is optional. If you are on bench your first option should be to find a project ASAP.
